Who we are

HonestAF is run by Tom Hall, trading as HonestAF. By using this site you're agreeing to these terms. If anything here doesn't sit right with you, the best move is to stop using the site and get in touch at hello@honestaf.co.

What HonestAF is

HonestAF is a review platform for alcohol-free drinks (0.0-0.5% ABV). Anyone can browse it; you need an account to post a review, vote a review helpful, or tip another reviewer. It isn't intended for anyone under 18, regardless of the fact the drinks reviewed here contain little or no alcohol.

Your account

You're responsible for whatever happens under your account, and for keeping your login secure. One review per drink per account - if you change your mind about something you've already rated, edit your existing review rather than creating a new one (the site enforces this automatically). You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

Reviews are opinions, not advice

Every review, rating, and "does it taste like the real thing?" verdict on this site is one person's honest opinion, not a guarantee, and not medical, dietary, or health advice. Product details (ABV, pricing, stockists) are provided by the community and kept as accurate as we reasonably can, but always check the can or bottle in front of you rather than relying on this site alone - particularly if you're pregnant, managing a health condition, or otherwise need to be certain about what's actually in a drink.

Posting on HonestAF

When you post a review, a product submission, or anything else on the site, you agree that:

• It's your own genuine opinion or contribution, not copied from somewhere else.
• It's not abusive, defamatory, misleading, spam, or posted to promote a business you're connected to without saying so.
• You won't try to manipulate ratings - for example, voting your own review helpful, or coordinating fake reviews.

You keep ownership of what you write, but you're giving HonestAF permission to display it on the site (and anywhere you choose to share it yourself, such as via the site's own share buttons). We can remove or edit content that breaks these terms, and suspend or close accounts that repeatedly do.

The product catalogue

The catalogue is curated: anyone can submit a product, a venue, or a price, but it only appears publicly once approved. We may decline a submission for any reason, including if it's a duplicate, inaccurate, or not genuinely alcohol-free.

Tips

"Tipping" another reviewer is a thank-you gesture built into the site - no money changes hands, and it doesn't unlock anything. It's just a way of saying a review was useful to you.

No warranty

HonestAF is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it running and the information on it accurate, but we don't guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or that any review, rating, or product detail is complete or correct. Use your own judgement, especially anywhere health or safety is involved.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
